Kate Korroch is an independent art critic and curator based in Chicago. Her current research focuses on the body in contemporary art made by artists from South Korea. Before returning to Chicago in 2010 she spent nearly two years living and teaching in a rural region of South Korea. Korroch has extensive experience as both an exhibited artist and curator. Utilizing her skills as a curator, she intends to communicate her findings from her research to the global community. Korroch holds an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the  School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2012) and a BA in Art History from Indiana University (2007).
