Kate Korroch is pursuing a Master of Arts in Visual and Critical Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her current research focuses on gender and sexuality in contemporary Korean art. Before returning to Chicago in 2010 she spent nearly two years living and teaching in a rural region of South Korea. Korroch has extensive experience as both an exhibited artist and curator. Utilizing her skills as a curator, she intends to communicate her findings from her research of gender and culture concepts to the international community.
